Flex Security Officer

Overview
The Flex Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and security across various sites. This position requires a proactive individual who can adapt to different environments and respond effectively to diverse security challenges. The Flex Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing conflicts, and ensuring the protection of assets and personnel.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, applying conflict management techniques as necessary.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
• Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Skills

• Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle disputes and maintain peace in various situations.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
• Experience or training in law enforcement or military service is advantageous for understanding security protocols.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques for monitoring activities effectively.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure asset protection.
• Excellent observational skills to identify potential threats or unusual behavior promptly.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and the public professionally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
