We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team and help protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling the premises, responding to alarms and emergency situations, conducting investigations, and enforcing rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff members.
• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the orderly flow of guests and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct thorough bag checks and implement appropriate security measures to prevent the entry of prohibited items.
• Handle crowd control and manage potentially disruptive or unruly behavior in a calm and professional manner.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and promptly address any suspicious or illegal activities.
• Collaborate with bar staff and management to identify and address potential security risks or concerns.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies, including medical situations or altercations, by providing immediate assistance and alerting appropriate authorities if necessary.
• Enforce the establishment’s policies and procedures, including age verification, dress code adherence, and responsible alcohol service.
• Act as a visible presence throughout the premises, deterring potential incidents and ensuring a sense of safety among patrons.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of bars and nightclubs, as well as security protocols and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, providing detailed incident reports when required.
• Continuously monitor and assess the security measures in place, making recommendations for improvements or adjustments as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
