Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas
• Respond promptly to incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations.
• Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, employees, and the public.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid security officer license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31 – 36 per week
