Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Armed Guard will utilize their training and experience in law enforcement and emergency response to effectively handle various situations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings accurately for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required to ensure effective communication during incidents.
• Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Maintain knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to armed security operations.

Requirements

• Valid armed security guard license and certification in relevant areas such as first aid and CPR.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.
• Must pass background checks and any required training or certifications prior to employment.

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
