Security Guard

Job Summary:

The Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA is seeking a part-time overnight security guard to join our team. This customer service-oriented professional is responsible for the overnight security of the club, with 2 shifts per week guaranteed.

This part time position has potential for increased responsibility/hours at MCC. There is also opportunity to be crossed trained in other departments at the club for the right candidate and skill set.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Closing and locking down all facilities at the end of the night
• Patrolling the campus and clubhouse throughout the overnight hours
• Reopening of the club in the morning

Qualifications/Experience:

• Security guard experience
• Experience in the industry is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident presence and polite manners
• Keen attention to detail
• References are required to apply for this position.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk for long periods of time, possibly extended distances
• Ability to bend and climb stairs frequently

Schedule:

• Two guaranteed shift per week, other hours available for additional coverage and vacation coverage.
• Ability to be flexible to work other overnights due to needed shift coverage is a plus.

Employment Status: Part Time
