Security Guard

Job Overview
We are currently looking for a diligent and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, ensuring the protection of assets, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or any security breaches
– Monitor surveillance equipment, including <CCTV>, to oversee premises and report any suspicious activities
– Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
– Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
– Control traffic by directing drivers during peak hours or special events
– Perform security checks on personnel, vehicles, or bags entering and exiting the premises
– Provide assistance to visitors by giving directions or escorting them when needed
– Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards to the appropriate authorities
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Maintain a high level of visibility to deter illegal activities

Skills
– Possession of a valid <certificate> in Security Guard training
– Proficiency in <militarise> techniques for effective security operations
– Knowledge of <Loss prevention> strategies to minimize theft and losses
– Ability to administer <First aid> and perform <CPR> in emergency situations
– Strong <Conflict management> skills to handle challenging situations calmly
– Familiarity with <Surveillance> systems and their operation
– Prior experience in <Law enforcement> is a plus

Pay: $10.00 – $13.98 per hour
