Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Unarmed Security to provide protection and security to our premises. The Unarmed Guard will be responsible for monitoring the facility, preventing and responding to any security breaches, and maintaining a high level of situational awareness. This is a role that requires exceptional communication skills, physical fitness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

– Must be able to provide a great hosting experience ie( Be very welcoming to patrons)

– Must be able to show up to work as schedule dictates and show up on time.

– Patrol the facility, both interior and exterior, to identify and address potential security risks.
– Respond to alarms and investigate any incidents or suspicious activities.
– Maintain surveillance of the premises, including monitoring the exterior perimeter and interior of the facility.
– Prevent and deter loss or theft by being proactive and vigilant.
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report and address any criminal activity.
– Conduct thorough investigations and document all findings.
– Maintain a high level of situational awareness to prevent and respond to any security breaches.
– Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the highest standards of integrity and conduct.
– Be familiar with and follow all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

– Must be able to provide a great hosting experience ie( Be very welcoming to patrons)

-Must have a NYS security guard license (If you do not, we will help you obtain one)
– Must have experience in conflict management and be able to de-escalate situations effectively.
– Must have experience in loss prevention and be able to identify and address potential security risks.
– Must have current CPR and first aid certifications.(if you don’t have one we will help you obtain one)
– Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
– Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.(Friendly demeanor)
– Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the highest standards of integrity and conduct.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Conflict management: 2 years (Required)
• Armed Guard, Law enforcement, Correction, or Military: 1 year (Preferred)
