We are seeking a full-time security officer at the Bal Harbour Shops, a landmark shopping destination located on Miami Beach. Our officers work directly for the owners of the business. Their principal role is to patrol the shopping center facility, to assist customers, tenants, and vendors where appropriate; and to observe, investigate, report, document, and log incidents per department policy.
- Patrol shopping center.
- Assist customers, tenants, and vendors where appropriate.
- Observe, investigate, report, document and log incidents.
- Seek out and report on safety hazards, incidents, and to assist and orient center stake holders.
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Must have strong English oral and writing skills, bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must present a calm and professional demeanor.
Position requires frequent walking and standing for extended periods of time in outdoor, covered conditions. Must also have the ability to speak, hear, bend, balance, squat, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Florida Class "D" Security License, required.
- Valid Driver’s License, required.
