Event Armed Security Officer

## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

## Responsibilities
– Patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized entry, theft, or vandalism
– Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms
– Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly
– Enforce laws on the property
– Conduct security checks and inspections according to post orders
– Write detailed reports of incidents and observations

## Qualifications
– Proven experience as an Armed Security Officer or relevant position
– Must possess a valid armed security guard license
– Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
– Excellent surveillance and observation skills
– Ability to operate CCTV systems effectively
– Strong conflict management abilities
– CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications are a plus
– Prior experience in law enforcement or military is desirable

Pay: $18.45 – $19.21 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Fort Lauderdale, FL (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Fort Lauderdale, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
