Security/Bouncer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in conflict management and loss prevention, ensuring a welcoming environment while effectively monitoring access to the facility.

Duties

• Greet guests and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure authorized access only.
• Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of property.
• Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations as they arise.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
• Certification in loss prevention, first aid, CPR, or conflict management is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and familiarity with CCTV systems.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential risks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally.
• A background in military service is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
