Come be part of our Rooms team as a Security officer at the Hyatt Regency DFW located across from Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The Hyatt Regency DFW features 811 guestrooms and 92,000 square feet of function space.

This will be an on-property role, and will be a part of the Global Hyatt Hotels Managed portfolio.

What your schedule will look like:

Seeking a candidate for Full Time position with Open Availability. Must be available weekends.

• Evening Shifts 2:30pm to 11:30pm

The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This position requires excellence in de-escalation that involves active listening, empathy, and calmness to diffuse potentially violent situations between guests, employees or other aggressive people on premises. This person will follow safety and security standards, and complete incident reports as required.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate de-escalation tactics
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Must be able to work over-nights, including weekends and holidays
• Proficient in computer skills
• Previous security experience required
• Hold a Texas driver’s license in good standing
