Job Description/Role/Responsibilities
Courtesy Patrol – Production
1.0 Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Will work under direct supervision of the Safety Department and have ability to work well with others.
· Will be trained in and must follow GMP and Safety guidelines.
· Will assist Human Resources with new applicants and visitors.
· Will ensure that visitors sign in via Sign-in Sheet or Envoy system
· Will monitor security cameras for employee and facility safety
· Will monitor security cameras for theft, GMP violations and Safety Violations
· Will assist Supervisors, Managers and Human Resources with employee related situations
· Will assist employees/visitors with parking.
· Will assist employees and visitors with getting to/from the building (when possible), using a golf cart.
· Must be able to verify employee identities via employee badge or other forms of identification.
· Must perform pre-entry temperature checks via Taylor Farms approved thermometer.
· Will give out masks and assist with social distancing.
· Will conduct periodic facility perimeter checks using a pre-approved checklist.
· Perform other reasonable job-related duties as requested.
2.0 Education/Experience
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
· Must have 3 to 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Language Skills – Must be able to read and write in English, bi-lingual a plus. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
· Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
· Reasoning Ability – Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to remain calm in intense/difficult situations
4.0 Physical Requirements
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk and sit.
· The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Employee must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.
· Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time.
5.0 Equipment/Software Used
· Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
6.0 Work Environment
· Full time position
· Must be willing to work in outdoor environment – Cold/Wet/Heat
· Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as scheduled or needed.
