Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence:
  • Ensures the Airport Identification Office (AIO) is effectively and efficiently operating in compliance with the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) regulations regarding airport issued identification and training.
  • Provides customer service relating to access control, identification, and training.
  • Issues monthly report to all tenants verifying employee rosters; maintains records of deleted employees and lists of lost badges.
  • Maintains records for badges; supplies accounting with pertinent information to facilitate billing of fingerprinting and badge issuance.
  • Schedules appointments for fingerprinting and training.
  • Monitors security-training classes for any person applying for unescorted access to the Secured, SIDA, Sterile and AOA areas pursuant to Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CRF) Part 1542.
  • Collects and submits fingerprints pursuant to Title 49 CFR Part 1542 and other TSA mandated classifications.
  • Retrieves fingerprint results and processes same in accordance with TSA regulatory requirements and CRAA rules and policies.
  • Collects information and submits data relative to conducting Security Threat Assessments (STA) in compliance with applicable TSA Security Directives.
  • Ensures required regulatory audits are conducted on identification and access media.
  • Maintains training records for all individuals with airport issued identification badges pursuant to Title 49 CRF Part 1542.
  • Reviews Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) results, for all badge applicants with the need for unescorted access to restricted areas, to approve badge issuance or forward to the airport police for adjudication.
  • Issues badge denial letters.
  • Airport Tenant Security Program tracking and documentation management.
  • Maintains file of authorized signatures as required by the TSA.
  • Assists in the collection and or billing of non-returned badges.
  • Assists with manual background checks.
  • Responsible for deletion of returned badges.
  • Responsible for Smartkey management and required audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your “Landing” will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and other computer equipment
  • Experience with customer service and data entry
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Two (2) years working in an airport environment including familiarity with TSA regulations governing security, preferred.
