Job Title: Security/Gate Attendant

Job Summary:

We seek a reliable and vigilant Security/Gate Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, and providing excellent customer service to visitors and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor and control access to the facility through gates and entrances.

– Verify identification and maintain records of all visitors and personnel entering and exiting the premises.

– Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure a secure environment.

– Respond to and address any security emergencies, disturbances, or suspicious activities.

– Maintain clear communication with emergency services and other team members when necessary.

– Enforce company policies and regulations regarding facility access and safety protocols.

– Provide assistance and information to visitors and employees in a courteous manner.

– Report any maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

– Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on security procedures and techniques.

Qualifications:

– Active Perc Card (Must be active/Renewed)

– High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.

– Previous experience in security or customer service is preferred.

– Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.

– Must work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

– Must pass background checks.

Physical Requirements:

– Ability to stand for extended periods and conduct foot patrols.

– Must lift as necessary.

Salary: $17.00
