About Us: SCIS provides innovative Managed Mobility, UVC Sanitization, and Catering Security solutions within the aviation industry.

About the Position: A Catering Screener ensures food carts, catering equipment, and catering trucks are secured while in the catering units and while in transit to the aircraft according to TSA and Airline regulations.

Schedule: 1:00 AM – 9:30 AM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain established processes that support airport and airline security processes and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all Company standard operating procedures and policies
  • Work in corporation with other team members
  • Document inspection activities on required paperwork for statistical purposes
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives

Minimum Education, Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Prior work experience in a related field; i.e. quality control, auditing, security inspection is a plus
  • Valid identification/documentation that establish both identity and employment authorization (valid Driver’s License may be required)
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check process in compliance with federal and regulatory guidelines
  • Must pass-pre employment drug test
  • Employees may be required to provide vaccination status

  • Frequent standing or walking: Standing is to remain on one’s feet in an upright position without moving about. Walking is to move about on foot.
  • Sitting and Standing: Flexibility to choose between sitting and standing as needed.
  • Lifting or Carrying: 0-10 lbs. handled constantly; 11-50 lbs. handled frequently.
  • Pushing and Pulling: 0-10 lbs. handled constantly; 11-50 lbs. handled frequently; 51-100 lbs. handled rarely.
  • Gross/Fine Manipulation. Repetitive motions using hands and fingers: fastening, carrying, grasping, and holding.
  • Driving: Operating a motorized vehicle.
  • Possible exposure to extreme weather conditions; hot, cold, humid, damp, and chilling temperatures.
  • High volume, fast paced work environment.
  • Safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
