Supplier Security & Assurance Senior Manager

This role focuses on third party risk management and controls assurance. You will be working with all areas of the business to identify and assess Sky's security risk in its interaction with suppliers. You will work alongside wider Sky teams to oversee the risk management of suppliers. A primary function will be overseeing supplier regulatory compliance and engaging in the identification and management of supplier reviews, building strong relationships with key stakeholders for overall supplier security management. The role reports to Head of Telco GRC and is supported by an analyst.

What you'll do

• You will maintain, manage and develop Sky's telecoms supplier security assessment and management framework
• You will liaise with Engineering and GRC/Security functions through the lens of the whole lifecycle of vendor relationships, understanding the threat/risk model for Sky's telecoms supply chain, to provide guidance on how to manage these risks whilst balancing operability of the network.
• You will co-ordinate, oversee and evaluate supplier assessments and audits
• You will align and co-ordinate the identification, assessment, and management of supplier security with regards relevant regulation and general operational risk management.
• You will support informed decision-making processes in regard to supplier selection
• Evaluate and report on KPIs related to supplier risk, regulatory/contractual compliance levels and supplier engagement.
• You will manage and develop a small team of highly motivated and driven individuals.

What you'll bring

• To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and provide clarity to wider teams on how to manage Sky's suppliers
• You will have previous experience in third party risk management
• It is likely that you have worked in IT audit and/or have IT information security experience, and you will be familiar with control frameworks
• You will have previous team management experience.
• You will be working closely with our suppliers, representing Sky, and therefore you must have excellent stakeholder management skills
• You will be comfortable working with technical information received from Sky's suppliers
