**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an active and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding company assets, preventing theft, and maintaining a safe environment within the premises.

**Responsibilities:**

– Conduct surveillance to detect and apprehend individuals committing theft or fraud

– Monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious behavior and respond accordingly

– Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary for investigations or interventions

– Implement and support loss prevention strategies to minimize financial losses

– Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with security and safety procedures

– Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or misconduct

– Provide thorough and detailed reports on security incidents and findings

**Requirements:**

– Must have Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status

– Proven experience in surveillance, law enforcement, or loss prevention roles

– Familiarity with CCTV systems and security operations

– Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail

– Ability to work independently, make quick decisions, and handle potential confrontations

– Good physical condition to manage any on-site incidents confidently

– Ability to pass a background check

**Pay:** Expected pay rate of $22.00 per hour, with potential variation depending on relevant experience
