Mobile Patrol Supervisor, Quality Control Manager (QCM)

We are actively searching for a hard-working, customer service focused individual to join our industry-leading team as a Mobile Patrol Quality Control Manager. Our Mobile Team supports operations during the evening, overnights, and weekends. The successful candidate would be responsible for conducting mobile patrols at several sites around the city, overseeing employee safety and compliance and customer services. They would also be the first point of contact for support of existing clients, responding to alarms, dispatching employees, and assisting with scheduling inquiries outside of office hours.

Schedule:

The available position will follow a permanent part-time schedule of Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am-10:30pm; 24 hours guaranteed weekly. Please note that the training (3-5 shifts) must be done OVERNIGHT (10:30pm-10:30am).

Additional on-call hours are available throughout the week on overnight shift (10:30pm-8:00am), should the candidate's availability permit it – to cover sick calls, vacation time, extra coverage needed, etc.

Job Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails
  • Interior and exterior patrolling of client sites around the greater Ottawa area
  • Receive sick calls and time-off requests from guards, find replacement guards to fill in shifts at last-minute
  • Work with clients to resolve any issues or additional coverage requests
  • Write detailed and clear reports of any emergencies or incidents while on shift
  • Submit detailed daily end-of-shift emails to QCM team and management
  • Conduct scheduled and/or random spot checks of security guards on shift

Required Certifications:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License (or out-of-province equivalent) with a clean driving record; MUST be able to provide Driver's Abstract
  • Willing or able to acquire Government of Canada Reliability Clearance (if not already obtained)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Security Guard Experience (security supervisory experience preferred)
  • Experience with responding to alarms and/or urgent requests
  • English fluency (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, time management, and observation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable with technology and learning new applications (Applications used: InTime and TrackTik)
  • Work authorization without sponsorship required (hold Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residency, have a valid work/study permit, etc.) and be able to provide SIN within 3 days of hire
