Mobile Patrol Security Officer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Patrol Officer to join our team. The Mobile Patrol Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Detect and prevent any suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Write detailed reports on incidents and maintain logs of daily activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Operate a company vehicle responsibly, complying with traffic laws and company policies
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.

Working Conditions:

• Rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work involves patrolling assigned areas using a vehicle and occasional on-foot inspections.

• Qualifications:

Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensing and Certification:

1. Valid Security Guard License for Alberta

2. Valid driver’s class 5 full license (Non- GDL) with 1 year driving history with a clean driving record.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

3. Proficiency in using security equipment and reporting software

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

2. Capability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
