Position Summary:

As a Cruise Terminal Guard, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the embarkation and debarkation processes for cruise ship passengers visiting San Diego. The ideal candidate will possess solid decision-making skills, attention to detail, and a positive public interaction approach. Key Responsibilities:

– Coordinate the embarkation and debarkation processes for cruise ship passengers.

– Maintain a high level of situational awareness to ensure the safe arrival and departure of clients.

– Provide a calm and stress-free experience for passengers.

– Uphold and enforce all company policies.

– Present a professional and welcoming demeanor to passengers.

Requirements:

-High school diploma or GED

-Successfully pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

–Must have California Guard Card

-Successfully pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

-Meet all state and/or local licensing requirements prior to employment

Preferred requirements:

-5 years verifiable security experience

-CPR and First Aid certification

-Have a TWIC card

Qualifications:

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to lift at least 40 pounds

-Physically fit; able to climb stairs and walk for extended periods

-Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution

-Ability to maintain composure in high stress situations

-Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to variable work schedules
